Scrum Master
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a servant leader and coach for one or more Scrum teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and Scrum framework.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to maintain focus on sprint goals.
- Foster a collaborative and transparent environment for team members, ensuring clear communication between all stakeholders.
- Track and report key sprint metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.) to stakeholders and the leadership team.
- Support the Product Owner in managing and prioritizing the product backlog.
- Identify and resolve team conflicts, fostering a culture of trust and continuous improvement.
- Promote Agile best practices and encourage team ownership of deliverables and timelines.
- Work closely with other Scrum Masters to align on inter-team dependencies and deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile software development environment.
Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
- Proficiency in Agile tools like Jira, Confluence
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and foster team collaboration.
